Brathwayt, Thomas, s. Gawen, of Windermere, Westmorland, pleb., p.p. Queen's Coll., matric. 15 Nov., 1639, aged 18; B.A. 28 Nov., 1644, M.A. 8 July, 1647, fellow 1649, one of these names became a student of Gray's Inn in 1631, but as he was called to the bar 11 Feb., 1638-9 he could scarcely be identical with our scholar, who was probably instituted to the rectory of Enham, Hants, 1650, and was father of the next named.
