Magdalen Hall, matric. 1 March, 1604-5, aged 18; B.A. 31 May, 1608, M.A. 4 July, 1611, chaplain to John, Lord Paulet, taught a grammar school at Hinton St. George, and rector 1618, minister of St. David's, Exeter, taught school at East Coker, and was vicar 1661, until his death on Christmas Eve, 1688.
