Ensign James Whipple is Chosen Pound Keeper in the Roome of M^r William Whipple

 

The meeteing is adjorned to munday the 19^th day of this Jnstant June

 

Jn order to Engage John Potter Jun^r to the place of a Constable : other ways to Chose an other in his Roome : but in Case the s^d Potter takes his ingagement before that time then this meeteing is dissolued

Richard Waterman Chosen Moderator Co^ll Joseph Whipple being absent

 

John Potter Jun^r appeared before this meeteing and made excuse of his Enabilityes that disinabled him for serueing in the place of a Constable : and his alligations was accepted by the Justices and there vpon the s^d Potter Js dismist for this yeare Jn hopes he may be better Enabled to performe the office by his Jndustry to acquaint himself with Larneing against an other time

Where vpon Samuell Gorton was Chosen in to the office of a Constable and Engaged in the Roome of the said John Potter
