Τοὐλεύθερον δ᾽ ἐκεῖνο, τίς θέλει πόλει
Χρηστόν τι βούλευμ᾽ ἐς μέσον φέρειν ἔχων.
Καὶ ταῦθ᾽ ὁ χρῄζων, λαμπρός ἐσθ᾽, ὁ μὴ θέλων
Σιγᾷ, τί τούτων ἔστ᾽ ἰσαίτερον πόλει;
Euripid. Hicetid.
