Good morning. This is a deposition of Angela McCallum, conducted by the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol pursuant to House Resolution 503.

At this time, I'd like to ask the witness to please state her full name and spell her last name for the record.

The Witness. Angela McCallum, M-c-C-a-l-l-u-m.

  Thank you.

So this will be a staff-led deposition. My name is   I'm an investigative counsel for the committee. And I'm accompanied by my colleague here. I'll let her introduce herself.

And she's also investigative counsel for the committee.

And we may have members joining us. Actually, we're going to start off with Representative Zoe Lofgren here on the screen, and some other members may join as we go through the process here by video. And I'll do my best to note their appearance when they sign in, both for you all and for the record.

We're also joined here this morning by our chief clerk, who's also on committee staff,   and, here,   another member of our professional staff.

So, under the House deposition rules, neither committee members nor staff may discuss the substantive testimony that you provide today unless the committee approves its release. You, Ms. McCallum, and your attorney will have an opportunity to review the transcript.

And, before we begin, I'd like to discuss just a few ground rules.

We will follow the House deposition rules that we provided to your counsel
