36. — Forest Scene

A landscape representing’ a richly wooded scene. On the right, an eminence with a stream flowing at its base; a road, on which is a woman with a bundle on her head, accompanied by a child, leads downwards, to a rustic bridge, over which a man is walking. In the distance, to the left, is seen the open country. Signed with monogram.

Canvas, 41 in. by 5o in.
