Published works Application for registration should be made "promptly" after publication with notice, but in no event after the expiration of the original twenty eight year term of statutory protection. The special six-month limitation prescribed for the registration of foreign works under Option B is explained in topics 2,11.3,III.b.3(b) and 2.11,3.III.c.2.
IV.
Manufacturing requirement. A "photograph" may be considered for registration in Class J regardless of the place where the work was produced or manufactured. C(see topic 6.4.1.II a.)
