(A. Madeyski.) of yellow marble there reposes the majestic figure of the sleeping Queen, in white Carrara marble, with hands folded in prayer. The work, a gift of Count Lanckoronski, is distinguished by force and precision of contours, a thorough knowledge of anatomy, and easy-flowing drapery.
