Mrs. Craig

What do you mean, you did it deliberately?

Craig

I mean that I smashed it purposely.

Mrs. Craig

What for?

Craig

I became suddenly heroic.

Mrs. Craig

Craig (turning away)

Mrs. Craig

Why would you deliberately break a beautiful, expensive ornament Like that?

Craig (turning back)
