returned to Verona master of a refined and elegant style. Many of his works are in the churches of Verona, among the best of which is St. Helena in S. Elena. There is a Holy Family by him in the Louvre, and a Victory of the Veronese at Desenzano in the Verona Gallery. His sister Cecilia, who studied under her father, was an excellent portrait painter.—Ch.
