Mr. N. took it up warmly, and stated that the Lord had sent Mr. Chapman, that brethren had all along differed as to redemption, Christ’s offices, characters, and a fourth thing I do not now remember; and that there could not be union. After this they had other fasts which I of course did not attend. Some, since out, did, and part of it was so bad, that I know those who had to leave the room. Since then I know nothing of what has passed there.
