A list of references has been added to each section of the syllabus. These will refer the reader to more detailed sources of information about our Labor Movement.
It is, likewise, a part of the method followed by the instructors in the classes of our Educational Department, to prepare complete outlines of each lesson during a course. Copies of these are given to the students. During the lesson the class follows the outline, making only necessary notes. At the end of the term, each student has in his possession a complete syllabus of the entire course—one which is sufficiently valuable to be preserved for reference and as a foundation for further study of the subject.
