8o Devon Notes and Queries. 57. Arms in Silverton Church. — The following is taken from Harl. MS., 6072, no definite date is given, but from other dates in the MS. it must have been compiled about 1590 to 1598, as there are notes with those dates given. The MS. consists of two'parts, being bound up with Harl. M.S, 6067. The part from which these notes were taken consists of notes from churches in various counties, but chiefly in London. These are the only Devonshire ones, and they are worthy of a corner in Devonshire Notes and Queries, The arms are roughly tricked in the original MS. In Syluerton Church in coun. Devon.
