He was confirmed 26th Feb., consecrated the next day36^ ^j^^j ^\^q temporalities were restored to him 1 8th March. The bishopric is rated for first fruits at 677?. is. ^d.^"^ The arms of the see are blazoned thus : Azure, a pres- byter John sitting on a tombstone, in his left hand a mound, his right hand extended, or, with a linen mitre on his head, and in his mouth a sword, all proper.
