He died loth June 1626, and was buried in St. Paul's cathedral ^\ His will is in the Prerogative Officers. The license to elect a bishop in the room of Valentine Carey issued 25th Oct. 162797^ and 1627 Joseph Hall, S.T.D., dean of Worcester^ was elected
