John de Bradelegh held this office before the year 1140.

Hugh de Avigo occurs in 1143.

Ascelinus occurs about 1165.

Baldwin	$\scriptstyle {\left\{{\begin{matrix}\ \\\ \end{matrix}}\right.}$	are witnesses to deeds of bishop Bartholomew's between the years 1161 and 1184.

Bernard died 3rd June 1190.

John Fitz-John seems to have succeeded Bernard.

Gilbert Basset occurs in 1206.

Walter de Grey occurs 10th May 1207^[1].

John de Bridport occurs in Aug. the same year ^[2].

Thomas de Boues, appointed by the king in 1213^[3].

R., [Richard Cowe?] was archdeacon in 1219.

Hugh was archdeacon, but the date of his appointment does not occur.

Ysaac occurs in 1225.

John de Kent witnessed a deed while Serlo was dean. His obit was kept 2nd Dec.

Roger de Wynkelegh witnessed bishop Brewer's confirmation of Woodbury 28th May 1228, and became second dean of Exeter.

Thomas Pincerna occurs in 1238, and he witnessed
