William De Sutfied or Sufield occurs archdeacon of Norwich in 1257[1].

Thomas de Skerning was archdeaoon of Norwich in 1272.

William de Knapton, LL.D., was collated prid. Non. Feb. (4th) 1301[2].

Gilbert de Middleton is said to have been archdeacon here in 1318, and to have succeeded Knapton.

Roger de Snetisham was collated xvi Cal. Maii (16th April) 1324[3].

William Bateman, LL.D., was collated vi Id. Dec. (8th) 1328[4]. He was afterwards bishop of this see in 1343.

Thomas de Falstoff was collated 6th Jan. 1340.

Thomas Bbadewaedyn; presented by the King 8th Feb. 1346-77[5].

John Berenger 16th May 1347[6].

RlCHARD DE LYNG, S.T.P., was collated 27th Aug. 1349[7]. His will, dated 9th March 1354-5, was proved 7th April 1355[8].

Richard Norwich was admitted 9th April 1 555, presented by the King in the vacancy of the see[9].

William Swinflet was collated 17th Oct. 1361[10]. He exchanged it 27th March 1387 for the church of Hingham in this diocese, and the prebend of Esh in the collegiate church of Langchester in the diocese of Durham, with

John Derlington, who was admitted 27th March 1387[11].

John Middleton, appointed by the King 17th Nov. 1398[12].
