Heney Siddall, A.M., succeeded in 1547. He died 2nd May 1572, and was buried in the cathedral.
Robert Dorset, S.T.B., succeeded in May 1572. He becamo dean of Chester in 1579, and died 29th May 1580, and was buried at Ewelme, in Oxfordshire, of which he was rector.
Kau'ii Pickavee, A.M.. archdeacon of Rochester, suc- ceeded 2nd June 1580. Died 8th March 1614, and was buried in the cathedral at Salisbury, of which he was archdeacon.
Edward James, S.T.B., was installed j-th March 1614, and died in Jan. 161 6.
William Piees, S.T.P., was installed 31st Jan. 16 16. He afterwards exchanged it for the first stall.
John* P&ideaux, S.T.I'., was installed i6th March 1616; and in 1641 he was made bishop of Worcester. He died at Bredon, in Worcestershire, 20th July 1650, and was buried in the chancel of the church there. In his epitaph it is said he died 29th July.
Robeet Sandi ksox, S.T.P., succeeded about the be- ginning of the year 1642 ; and not many years after he was ejected by the Parliamentary visitors. He be- came bishop of Lincoln in 1660.
Henuy Cornish", A.M., was put in by the same au- thority in 1 648 ; but turned out soon after the Re- storation.
William Crked, S.T.P., urchdeacon of Writs, was in- stalled in the beginning of the year 1661. He died xiv Cal. Aug. (19th July) 1663, setat. 47, and was bu- ried in the cathedral.
Thomas Lockey, S.T.P., was admitted 12th June 1665. He was removed to the fourth stall in 1678. He died 29th June 1679, setat. 78, and was buried in the second aisle joining on the north side to the choir of Christ Church.
