Richard de SwiNEFELD or Swynefead, alias SwYNE- eeud or Swynefeld, prebendary of St. Pancrat, held it in 1281 64 ; and in 12S3 he was made bishop of PI ere ford.
Robert de Ross succeeded Swinefeld in the prebend of St. Pancras, and probably in this archdeaconry j but the exact time is not set down. IIo continued a canon of this church in 1310, but voided his archdea- conry many years before 65 .

John de Bedford, prebendary of Mapesbury, occurs in 1300" and ^c^"' ; and he had the King's letters of protection to go to Rome dated 1st Sept. 1 ;c;
