DEANS. 265 William Nicholls, S.T.P., was installed 12th April 1644. He died i6th Dec. 1657, and was buried on the 19 th of that month at Northenden. James Arderxe or Ardex, S.T.P., was installed in July 1682. He died i8th Aug. 1691, and was buried in the cathedral. Lawrence Fogg, S.T.P., installed 14th Nov. 1691. He died 28th Feb. 1717-18.
