ARCHDEACONS OF WINTON OR WINCHESTER.

Henry was archdeacon of Winton in 1114[1]. Richer held the office in 1124[2]. Ralph is called archdeacon of Hants, circa 1130[3]. Joscelin from this dignity was made bishop of Salisbury in 1142[4] Hugh Pudsey from this dignity was made bishop of Durham in 1154[5]. Ralph enjoyed it in 1171[6]. Robert hold it in 1174[7]. Roger held it in 1181[8]. Bartholomew held the office in 1213[9] and 1221. He

died ii Id. Dec. (12th) 1230[10].
