Thomas Musgrave was collated 10th July 1675, ^^^ died 28th March 1686, being also dean of Carlisle. John Cave was collated 17th April 1686 and installed J 5th May following. He died in Oct. 1690. Samuel Eyre was collated 14th Oct. 1690 and installed loth Nov. following. He died in 1694. James Fynxey was collated on the 31st and installed 27th Nov. 1694. Thomas Secker was collated 3rd June 1727. He became successively bishop of Bristol and Oxford and archbishop of Canterbury. Thomas Chapman was collated 12th Dec. 1750. Thomas Burton was collated i8th Aug. 1760. Samuel Terrick was collated 19th June 1761. Gideon Murray was collated 18th Aug. 1761. Richard Fawcett was collated nth July 1778. Henry Chaytor was collated 24th July 1782. Phipps Weston was collated 16th July 1789. Robert Price was collated 28th April 1794. Richard Prosser was collated 13th Nov. 1804. Henry Jenkins was collated 21st Oct. 1839^. FOURTH STALL. William Bennet was appointed 12th May 1541. Ralph Levir, 14th Oct. 1567. Henry Nanton was collated ist Nov. 1579. Emanuel Barnes was removed from the fifth prebend to this stall in 1607, and died in 1614. Peter Smart was collated 6th July 1614, having been removed from the sixth prebend to this stall. Thomas Carre was collated 3rd March and 1630-31 installed 30th March 1631. His will, dated 13th July 1641, was proved 13th Nov. following. John Baewick was removed from the eighth prebend,
