This prebend was founded, at the latest, soon after the Conquest: endowed with half the great tithes of Oxton and Cropwell-Bishop, certain tithes in Blidworth, Cal- verton, and Woodburgh, and with certain temporals in Oxton, Cropwell-Bishop, Blidworth, Calverton, and Hickling. William de Clifford held this prebend in 1280^1. John de Euroys held it circa 1291 9'^. Canon of South- well in 12979^. Robert de Nova-villa resigned it in 1327^"^.
