Edward Copley, M.A., fellow of Merton college^ was substituted (by the same authority that ejected his predecessor) 30th Oct. 1648. He died 24th March following, and was buried in the chapel belonging to Merton college. Henry Wilkinson, S.T.B., principal of 3Iagdalen hall^ succeeded the same day his predecessor died, viz. 24th March 1648—9. Francis Howell, M^A., fellow of Exeter college, 25th March 1654. William Carpender, M.A., student of Christ Church, 7th Oct. 1657. Francis Palmer, M.A., student of Christ Churchy was elected 6th Dec. 1660. Andrew Crispe, ^,., fellow of Corpus Christi college, was elected 7th Oct. 1664. Nathaniel Hodges, M.A., student of Christ Church, was elected 28th Sept. 1668. Abraham Campion,M.
