Roger Keys, LL.B., succeeded in Feb. 1442. He be- came precentor of Exeter. William Kele, M.A., succeeded in July 1445, ^"^ died about 22nd Oct. 1459. William Poteman, LL.D., was elected 9th Nov. 1459, and resigned in 1466. John Stokes, M.A., succeeded in 1466, and resigned H94". Thomas Hoebes^ M.A., succeeded in 1494, and re- signed in 1503. He became dean of Windsor. William Broke, Deer. Dr., was elected in 1503, and resigned in 1524. Ob. in 1525. John Coale, M.A., nominated by the archbishop of Canterbury 28th June 1525. Robert Wodeward, Dec. Dr., appointed by the arch- bishop 4th Sept. 1528, on the resignation of John Coale; and resigned in 1533. Roger Stokeley, M.A., was elected 22nd Feb. i^'i'^i and resigned in 1536. John Warner, M.D , regius professor of medicine^ was elected 6th May 1536, and resigned 14th Jan. ^^^. Physic professor in 1.535. Seth Holland, M.A., was substituted 29th Feb. 1555, and resigned in 1558. John Pope, LL.I3., had this wardenship conferred on him by cardinal Pole in 1558, but died before ad- mission.
