The arms of this college are thus blazoned : The arms of the see of Lincoln between the arms of bishop Smyth, viz. argent, a chevron sable, between three roses proper : and the arms of Richard Sutton, esq. viz, quarterly, first, argent, a chevron between three bugle -horns stringed, sable; second, a chevron be- tween three crosslets ; the third as the second, the fourth as the first.
