572 OXFORD. Arthur Yeldard, M. A., was admitted 26th Sept. 1559. He died ist Feb. 159H. Ralph Kettell, S.T.P., was nominated and admitted by Thomas Bilson, bishop of* Winchester, 12th Feb- 1598. He died in July 1643, ^"^^ ^^^ buried in the church of Garsingdon, near Oxford. Hannibal Potter, S.T.P., was admitted 8th Aug. 1643, and ejected by the Parliament delegates in 1648. Robert Harris, S.T.B., was substituted by the same authority that ejected his predecessor 29th Feb. 1 647-8. He died 12th Dec. 1658, setat. 80, and was buried in the chapel. William Hawes, M.A., was admitted 27th Dec. 1658, resigned 12th Sept., died the 14th of the same month, 1659, and was buried in the church at Garsingdon. Seth Ward, S.T.P., was elected 14th Sept. 1659. After the Restoration, he gave place to the right owner, Potter. He was afterwards precentor, dean, and bishop of Exeter, and bishop of Salisbury. Hannibal Potter, S.T.P., was restored 3rd Aug. 1660. He died ist Sept. 1664, and was buried in the chapel. Ralph Bathurst, M.D., was elected loth Sept. 1664. He became dean of Wells, and died 8th June 1704. Thomas Sykes, S.T.P., Margaret professor^ succeeded in 1704. Ob. 14th Nov. 1705. William Dobson, S.T.P., in 1705.
