Thomas Peverel, bishop of Landaff was translated to this see on the promotion of the last bishop to London by papal bull 4th July 1407[3]. The temporalities were restored to him 20th Nov. 1407[4]; on which day he made his profession to the archbishop at Gloucester. He died 1st March 1418–19[5], and was buried in the church of the Carmelites near the university of Oxford. The monks of Worcester 9th March 1418–19 informed the King of the death of bishop Peverel, and petitioned his Majesty to issue his congé d'élire, which he accordingly did on the 25th of that month[6] In pursuance of which

Philip Morgan, LL.D., was elected 24th April 1419;
notwithstanding which the Pope, by his bull, dated
19th June 1419, provided him to this see; he made
profession of his obedience 9th Sept.[7]; the temporalities were restored to him 18th Oct. following[8]; and he was consecrated at Rouen 3rd Dec. Hr was translated to Ely 27th Feb. 1425–6[9].

Thomas Polton, bishop of Chichester, was translated to this see by papal bull dated 27th Feb. 1425–6[9], and the temporalities wore restored to him 23rd April 1426[10]. He made his profession of obedience
