He was dean of Westminster in 1601, bishop of Chichester in 1605, bishop of Ely in 1609, bishop of Winchester and prelate of the Garter in 1618-19, &c. Ob. 26th Sept. 1626. Sam UK I- Harsnet, M.A., archdeacon of Essex, elected 9th Nov. 1605; resigned in 1616. He became bishop of Chichester in 1609, bishop of Norwich in 1619, and archbishop of York in 1628. Ob. 25th May 1631. His will is dated 13th Feb. 1630- 1, and a codicil to it 1 8th May 1 63 r .
