Diplomatic Department.

His Excellency Her Majesty's Plenipotentiary and Chief Superintendent of British Trade in China, &c., &c., is pleased to direct that the annexed Comparative Statements of British Import and Export Trade at the Ports of Canton, Amoy, and Shanghae, during the Years 1851 and 1852, as compiled from the Consular Returns, be published for general information.
