In 1877-85 he was a representative from Florida to the lorty-fiftli, foiiy-sixth, forty-seventh and forty-eighth congresses. Bisbee, Marvin Davis, educator, librarian, bibliographer, was born June 21, 1845, in Chester, Vt. He was ordained to the ministry; and in 1878-82 was pastor at Cambridge, Mass. adjutant-general in the tfnited States troops called to quell the riots in Chicago, 111. In 1892 he was engaged in suppressing miners' outbreaks and in 1893-94 commanded the troops that were called to the Debs riots and the commonwealther's outbreaks. He commanded a battalion in the Indian disturbances of 1895;
and commanded a regiment through SantiHe reorganized the regiment after the war and returned to Cuba; where he had previously engaged in battles. He had ago campaign.
