Brazer, Clarence Wilson, designer, architect, was born March 13, 1880, in Philadelphia, Pa. Since 1903 he has been engaged as an architect of New York City. The floor plans of his design were incorporated in the new capitol building of Porto Rico at San Juan. Brazza, Cora, litterateur, author, was bom in 1862 in Louisiana. She is the author of An American Idyl; a Literary Farce; and Guide to the Old and New Race in Italy. Breare, George W., lawyer, jurist, was born Feb. 28, 1858, in Newton, Ala. In 1880 he moved to Florida; and in 1881-90 was a justice of the peace for Suwannee county. In 1896 he was elected county judge of Lafayette county, Fla.; and served until 1898. He died in Mayo, Fla. His son James Albert Breare is a successful school teacher of Mayo, Fla. Brearley, David, soldier, lawyer, jurist, was born in 1745. He was lieutenant-colonel in the revolutionary army. He was a member of the state and federal constitutional conventions of New Jersey. In 177989 he was chief justice of the supreme court of New Jersey; and in 1789 was appointed United States judge for the district of New Jersey. He died Aug. 16, 1790, in Trenton, N.J. Brearley, William Henry, soldier, journalist, founder, author, was born July 18, 1846, in Plymouth, Mich. In 1862-65 he served in the civil war in the seventh regiment Michigan volunteer infantry. In 1873-87 he was advertising manager of the Detroit News; and was proprietor of the Detroit Journal in 1887-92. He founded the Detroit museum of art in 1883; and founded the Detroit chamber of commerce in 1892.
