She said ‘If Dwarka Natha (her son ) were here, he would never allow you to remove me from home as you are doing.” The men did not pay any heed to her words, but went on carry- ing her towards the Ganges; upon which she said, ‘““As you have not obeyed my wishes I shall cause you great trouble. I shall not die soon.”* On reaching the Ganges they placed her in a hut of tiles. She lived three nights in that situation. | was with her all this time. On the night previous to the day when she would expire, I was seated on a mat spread near the tiled hut, the full moon had risen on the horizon and close by me was the funeral ground. At that time they were singing ata: কিন্তু দিদিমা আরও বাচিতে চান, গঙ্গায় যাইতে তাহার মত নাই, তিনি বলিলেন যে “ যদি দ্বারকানাথ বাড়ীতে থাকিত তবে তোরা কখনই আমাকে লইয়। যাইতে পারিতিস্ ai” কিন্ত লোকে তাহ। শুনিল না। তীহাকে লইয়া গঙ্গা- তীর চলিল। তখন তিনি কহিলেন, “ তোরা যখন আমার কথা ন৷ শুনে আমাকে গঙ্গায় নিয়ে গেলি, তেমনি আমি তোদের সকলকে খুব কষ্ট দিব, আমি শীঘ্র মরিব না।"' গঙ্গাতীরে লইয়া একটী খোলার চালাতে তাহাকে রাখা হইল । সেখানে তিনি তিন রাত্রি জীবিত ছিলেন। আমি ৫সই সময়ে গঙ্গাতীরে তাহার সঙ্গে নিয়ত থাকিতাম। দিদিমার মৃত্যুর পুব্বদিন রাত্রিতে আমি প্র চালার নিকটবত্তী নিমতলার ঘাটে একখান। টাচের উপর বসিয়া আছি, এ দিন পুর্ণিমার রাত্রি চন্দ্রোদয় হইয়াছে, নিকটে খশান । তখন দিদিমার নিকট নাম সন্কীর্তন
