assembled there to dissuade him from his resolve

Chaitanya’s followers was wonderful. In the last
page of the Kadcha Govinda writes that he was
entrusted by Chaitanya Deva while at Puri to
carry a letter from him, to Advaitacharyya at
Cantipur. This meant his absence from Puri for a
few days. But when entrusted with this task :—

Chaitanya Deva was held in Bengal continues even
now among her people, not to speak of his more
special followers—the Vaisnavas who believe him to
