Criminal law—contempt for the flag of the united states.—In the prosecution of appellant for showing contempt for the flag of the United States, evidence showing that when he applied at the Welfare Commissary for food for himself and family he was asked to salute the flag and in the presence of a number of people he declared that "the flag meant nothing to him; that it was no more than a rag," was sufficient to warrant the jury in finding him guilty.
