He ends by bespeaking the usual clemency of the Cardinal.

Herminjard, op. cit., pp. 2790., is unable to explain what work is alluded to, but thinks it must be some letterar written by Pare! against Erasnras. But it is probable that the Epistles and Gospels for the Jtf Weeks, here alluded to by Dsmamis, arc meant. It was a work written by FareL
