If any marry without the approval of him who holds the key of power over all contracts, of course, Joseph Smith and his successors, their marriage will not be valid in the next world. They cannot be enlarged, for even the wife they had here will be given to some faithful saint, who honored this new and everlasting covenant. The disobedient that get to heaven will be doomed to a bachelor's life. Yea, worse, they will only be servants to help take care of true Mormon's wives and children. Too bad. Such can never aspire to the position of a god. The thoughtful reader can see in this the foundation of the Adam God theory, as held by the parent Mormon church. That theory is that Adam is the only God that we have to do with! Adam as our God came to earth and took to himself the virgin Mary as a spiritual wife, and by virtue of that union Jesus was born!!
