recognized the National Council as the legal Government of the Czechoslovak State, and expressed the hope that both nations would in the future co-operate fraternally in close unity as hitherto. Replies were received to our note of October 14th also from the Belgian and Greek Governments on November 23rd and 24th respectively, both granting us recognition. Thus, by October 24, 1918, our independence was unreservedly recognized by all the chief Allied States. Our struggle for liberation had ended in victory.
