On Shee which was hang'd and afterwards Recover'd.

ORpheus, to fetch his Wife, did goe
A voyage to the Shades below
('Twas more then many a man would doe:)

The blood-lesse Ghosts did weepe (they say)
And Pluto groan'd, as He did play;
Yet She came back but Halfe the way.

Now we have seen a stranger sight;
Whether it was by Physick's might,
Or that (it seems) the Wench was Light.

But sure 'twill spoyle her Marriage-day,
For who so hardy to assay
Such an immortall Virbia?

Wives may deceive, and doe their beft
To counterfeit in all the rest;
Only let them not Dye in jest.
