9th S. IV. Dec. 30, TO.] 533 NOTES AND QUERIES. the autumn. It should therefore be placed between Nos. 258 and 259 in vol. ii. Helen Toynbee. THE JUBILEE NUMBER. The lists supplied in connexion with your Jubilee number raise some interesting ques- tions. How many survive who contributed to your first volume? So far as I am aware, only four: the veteran Vicar of Ecclesfiold (Rev. Alfred Gatty), Prof. Mayor, of Cam- bridge, the Rev. W. M. Kingsmill, of Tibber- ton, Droitwich, and the Rev. Henry Morland Austen, of Sevenoaks. I have got out a list of those whose signatures appear to articles in the volume and are not included in your two lists. Perhaps you and other contri- butors "can tell us which of these, beyond those indicated, are dead, and when they died. Albert Way (pb. 22 March, 1874). Sylvain van de Weyr. Nehemiah Brooke (Uffbrd).
