Baptist. In early life Mr. Sunday was a professional baseball player. From 1883 to 1890 he played with the Chicago, Pitts burg, and Philadelphia teams of the National League. He preaches with the same vim and enthusiasm that he manifested in playing baseball — with his coat off and his sleeves rolled up.
