IN the front of the number we give an engraving of a Cravat for a gentleman. The materials are a bit of cardboard, a small piece of narrow elastic, and silk or satin on the cross . To make this Cravat, cut a piece of card to the shape shown in the annexed cut, but larger ; cover it with silk on both sides, and sew on a loop of elastic for fixing on to the button of the collar of band of the shirt. Make card ; shape, and finish with a strap over the a neatly-shaped bow, and sewit upon the covered center of the bow.
