THIS costume is made of claret cashmere, and trimmed with frills of the same and satin piping to match. The paper pattern itself consists of three pieces, and represents one half the panier skirt (see diagram on next page. ) 1. HALF tablier FRONT. 2. ONE ROUNDED SIDE BREADTH . VOL. LV. -5

3. HALF OF BACK BREADTH. The tablier front is to be cut double, and without a seam down the center ; a notch will be found on one side of it, and a corresponding notch on one side of the rounded side breadth, showing how these two pieces are to be joined together.
