MATERIALS. -Leather canvas, cardboard of the same color, brown cloth, brown silk cordon in several shades, small steel beads. This consists of two parts pushed into each
button-hole stitch and initials are worked with brown silk. The branch of flowers is in shades of red-brown. The edge is ornamented with three different shades of brown, which harmonize nicely with the steel beads. One of these medallions is so arranged as to hide the greater part of the seam. The second medallion is placed on the other side of the round. The outer edge is bound with a brown ribbon, three-quarters of an inch broad, and the medal-
