The Lord knows what we have written, and also that no other people know our reformed Egyptian language. This is why He has prepared a way for it to be interpreted.

We write these things to rid our robes of our brethren's blood, who have lived in unbelief. We want our brethren (the Lamanites) to know about Christ again.

According to the prayers of the saints who have lived in this land, and according to their faith in Jesus Christ, may God the Father remember the covenant that He made with Israel's descendants and bless them forever. Amen.
