IN Mt. WOLLASTON CEMETERY.
One day while wand'ring
Thro' the grave yard old,
I came upon a marble stone
All white and cold,
Inscribed thereon were words
I now in mem'ry clearly see
"Until the day break and the
Shadows flee."

Next time I rode around
The grave yard old,
I saw a manly form
So cold and still
Placed in a narrow grave
Upon the hill,
For him the day had broke
The "clouds had rolled away"
And he had entered in
Upon the glorious "light" of day,
But I am waiting all impatiently
"Until the day break and the
Shadows flee."
