OVER THE RIVER.
Over the river, the waveless river,Where never a ripple is cast,Where darkness reigns and no lights quiver,We all must cross at last.
Over the river, the shaded river,Where wait our loved and lost,We'll ind our treasures safe wheneverOur weary souls have crossed.
Over the river, the sweet, sweet river,We will lay our crosses down,To wear on sinless brows foreverThe Saviour's promised crown.
