Before the glory of your loveThe beauty of the world is bowedIn adoration, and to proveYour praises every Truth is proud:
Each silent witness testifiesYour wonder by its native worthAnd dumbly its delight deniesThat your wild music may have birth:
Only this madman cannot keepYour peace, but flings his bursting heartForth to red battle,—while they weepYour music who have held apart.
