Love never dies: it cannot die;
Nor flood, nor fire, nor rending heaven,
Can make the heart its life deny,
Or gather back the gift once given.

There comes a Spring for every snow,
For every death a life hereafter;
And they whose tears have bitterest flow,
Shall fill their lips with sweetest laughter.
