Happy, thou Flandria, on whose fertile Plains,
In wanton Pride luxurious Plenty reigns;
Happy! had Heav'n bestow'd one Blessing more,
And plac'd thee distant from the Gallic Pow'r!
But now in vain thy Lawns attract the View,
They but invite the Victor to subdue:
